மன்னுயிர்க் கெல்லாம் இனிது – குறள் 68

meaning: That their children should possess knowledge is more pleasing to all men of this great earth than to themselves – Thirukural 68

Children are unique little human beings filled with enchanting as well as revolting characters. But don’t we love them all? With their curious inquisitive nature and innocence. We are presenting an awesome collection of images by our BTEC HNC/HND Diploma in Photography learners portraying children in different moods and places this Children’s Day – November 14.

Candid actions and expressions: Pictures of children captured in their most natural self.

“Children are educated by what the grown-up is and not by his talk.” – Carl Jung

“Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do. Grandparents sort of sprinkle stardust over the lives of little children.” – Alex Haley

Portraits: These portraits bring out the beauty of childhood. Portraits captured as the kids went about their day to day activities.

“Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts.” ― A.P.J. Abdul KalamWings of Fire

Children playing: Playtime – anytime. Be it a sport or an imaginary game there is no dearth to the games children play.

“Learning gives creativity
Creativity leads to thinking
Thinking provides knowledge
Knowledge makes you great.”
― A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

Working Children: This is a sad but true part of our existence. In spite of the rules by the government Child labor is something that is prevalent in many parts of our country even today. Some lose their childhood in the process…so do it part-time to manage their family’s financial burden.
